## What Is Argan Oil? Argan oil is a plant-based oil pressed from the kernels of the Argania Spinosa tree, native to the Souss-Massa region of Morocco. Used for centuries by Berber women, it has become one of the most studied and trusted oils in modern skincare. ## The Science Behind It The oil is composed primarily of oleic acid (43–49%), linoleic acid (29–36%), and a high concentration of tocopherols — vitamin E. Florivid argan oil contains 620 mg/kg polyphenols and 62 mg/100g tocopherols, 25% above industry standard. ## Key Benefits **For the face:** Restores the lipid barrier, reduces fine lines, delivers antioxidant protection. **For the body:** Softens dry skin, reduces stretch marks, repairs post-sun damage. **For hair:** Seals the cuticle, reduces frizz, adds shine without silicone. ## How to Use It - **Face:** 2–3 drops on damp skin morning or evening - **Body:** 5–8 drops massaged into damp skin after shower - **Hair:** 1–2 drops through mid-lengths and ends ## Why Cold-Press Matters Industrial argan oil is extracted with heat and solvents, destroying polyphenols and oxidising fatty acids. Cold-press at 28°C preserves the molecule intact. All Florivid oils are first cold-press, pressed within 48 hours of harvest.
